It is an alternative to a fundraising garage sale or rummage sale. A collection drive is where gently used and new clothing, shoes, accessories and toys are gathered together. Instead of setting up a garage sale or rummage sale, Second Renew LLC will purchase the entire unsorted collection from the organization.
You ask your supporters for items they no longer need or want and get paid for what you collect! Items that may have gone to the landfill instead can be turned into cash for your organization!
-
You can help keep items out of landfills while also earning money! You do not have to sell a thing or spend hours setting up a fundraiser garage/ rummage sale!
Fundraising garage sales and rummage sales take hundreds of hours and lots of volunteers to set up, run and take down without the guarantee of earnings.
If you are a non-profit, you may be able to offer your supporters donation slips for the items they donate to you. Please contact your legal team for information.
-
An average collection drive earns $1,000 - $3,000! It depends on how much you collect; you can earn hundreds to thousands of dollars!
Let us know your fundraising goal and we can calculate how many approximate bags of collections you would want to gather.
For Example: To earn around $1,000, an estimate amount of 160 large bags filled of items would be recommended to collect.
